Verb de Lion

The reverb of Gare de Lion. 36 spots in the club, for anything you put in it.

Row 6 Centre — the plan on the left, the view from that spot, the measured decay below.

Gare de Lion in Wil has hosted international live music for decades. The 2026 renovation takes away the room as it sounds today. Before that I measured it at 36 places: the hall, the balcony, the corridor, the toilets. Put your snare in it, your voice, your synth — every place sounds different.

CHF 10, or nothing

On its own Verb de Lion costs ten francs. If you own Drums de Lion there is nothing to buy: the same key unlocks both plugins.

Two floors, two plans

Click a dot on the plan and you get the photograph taken from exactly there, facing the stage. Underneath runs the decay measured at that spot.

The balcony is its own floor, with its own plan. This one is on the PA.

What is in it

  • ·36 positions across two floors — hall, balcony, corridor, toilets
  • ·Direct and PA per position, blended freely
  • ·Stereo throughout: XY and Mid/Side of every position
  • ·Predelay, length, high- and lowpass with Q, width separately for XY and MS
Toilet F Front: small, tiled, 22 metres from the stage — and rings longer than row 6 in the hall.
